The only limitation is YOU!

The only limitation is YOU!

The life you want won't just come to you, you will push for it, expect resistance but don't be limited by your mindset!

What is a LIMIT?

The concept that human beings are limited to some capacity or ability doesn't seem to be the case majority of the time when the word is used. Limit is defined to be "a point or level beyond which something does not or may not extend or pass". Originally, the majority of humans are tailored to set a pass or level on every endeavour. Our brain tells us, you can't make that jump, you can't eat that finish, no you can't win. Subconsciously, we all tend to agree with this, the challenge we give to it instead is what makes us different.

I was introduced to programming in 2015 after I completed secondary school, just a young boy still hoping for a bright future, just like the majority in the science class, I also wanted to be a medical doctor! You know the drill, being that it is one of the hardest courses of study, one of the noblest professions on earth, and a comfortable lifestyle. Well, today, I am a Fullstack Software Developer, how this goes to be, let's leave it for another time. Today is to tell you how amazing it is to believe in yourself and fight off any limitations set by that nature or upbringing of yours, today I own different gadgets that I use for my work when I used to code for more than 2 years, with my mobile phone that needs one hand functionality to work because of a faulty screen.

Challenge that LIMIT!

The only limitation is you. These words carry a powerful message that can change the way we approach life. Limitations are often perceived as external factors that hinder our ability to achieve our goals. We blame the circumstances, the people around us, or even fate for our shortcomings. But what if the only limitation we face is ourselves? What if we are the ones holding ourselves back from achieving our full potential?

The truth is, we are the masters of our own destinies. We have the power to shape our lives and create the reality we want. However, this requires us to take ownership of our actions, thoughts, and beliefs. It requires us to break free from the limiting beliefs and negative self-talk that hold us back.

Many successful people have recognized the importance of overcoming self-limiting beliefs. Oprah Winfrey, for instance, had to overcome poverty, abuse, and discrimination to become one of the most influential people in the world. She once said, "The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams." This statement reflects the idea that we have the power to create the life we want, but it requires us to take risks, challenge ourselves, and push beyond our comfort zones.

Another example is J.K. Rowling, who faced rejection after rejection before her Harry Potter books were finally published. She once said, "It is impossible to live without failing at something unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all, in which case you have failed by default." This quote highlights the fact that failure is not a limitation, but rather an opportunity to learn and grow. We need to embrace failure as a natural part of the learning process and use it to our advantage.

In conclusion, the only limitation we face is ourselves. We need to let go of the limiting beliefs and negative self-talk that hold us back and embrace the power we have to create the life we want. It requires us to take risks, challenge ourselves, and push beyond our comfort zones. With determination and perseverance, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. So, let's break free from our self-imposed limitations and live the life of our dreams!

Will challenging YOU be the answer?

I am writing this article today not because I am Elon Musk or Dangote, Nope! I don't even have the resources their children have access to, but will that stop me, will that tell me to stop challenging myself, will that stop me from fighting for that better tomorrow? I know you just answered those questions. Challenging the limit, pushing harder, building better, networking better, and reaching out when you should even with the NOs you'll get will give you the energy needed on those days you feel not enough, on those days you feel like crying, on those days you feel like giving up because it is okay to have those feelings, you're human, you are allowed to rest, you are allowed to be tired. Get up again because you are an achiever, I believe in you, I know you have got this, and I know you are the best version of yourself!

I am in a better place today than I was yesterday, maybe tomorrow I'll be overwhelmed again, but I have the push, the willingness and the passion to push harder, so boy, I am going to come back stronger and better. Next time before you give up, ask yourself if you have challenged yourself enough, seek other possible alternatives, and give it your all.

I wish you enjoy the rest of your day better than you've been before now! Thanks for reading, please do share with your friends and colleagues, you might be making someone's day. Stay tuned for other impactful content to come.
